Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you have a beautiful day celebrating our country's birthday and independence with family and friends! We tell stories with jewelry... Origami Owl game for Jewelry Bar Parties

One of the many reasons that makes Origami Owl custom jewelry so special and unique is the story telling! Therefore, focus on this concept at your Jewelry Bar parties to make the event more meaningful and interactive.

At the Origami Owl National Convention in 2013, I learned this activity
that demonstrates the concept of telling stories with the jewelry while making the hostess feel special. Ever since I started doing it, my jewelry bars have always been a big hit!

Here's how to do it:
After thanking the hostess and giving her a gift for holding a jewelry bar, explain to the guests that Origami Owl tells stories with the jewelry. It is a customizable jewelry company where you create your story by selecting charms that represent things you love and are important to you in your life and fill them in our living lockets. Then have the guests look through the charms and pick out one that represents the hostess. The guests then share the charm they chose and why. Have them share the story behind the charm. Show the living locket and how to put the charms in. As guests share their charm, have them put the charm in the locket. When everyone is done sharing, let the hostess wear the locket for the remainder of the jewelry bar party!


This activity helps to get to know the hostess and the guests better and to make a more meaningful connection with each person. The guests also learn the concept of the charms and get ideas for creating their own living locket!
